How Your Support Helps

A brain tumour diagnosis can turn a family’s world upside down, not just emotionally, but financially as well. The costs of medical treatments, travel to and from appointments, and the day-to-day challenges of caring for a loved one can quickly add up. Many families find themselves facing unexpected financial pressures at a time when they are already overwhelmed.
For many, a brain tumour diagnosis means taking time off work. The person diagnosed may have to stop working to undergo gruelling treatments, and often a spouse or parent may also need to quit their job or reduce their hours to provide the necessary care. This loss of income, combined with additional medical and living expenses, can put an enormous strain on the family.
Depending on the type of brain tumour, treatment options in the UK can be limited. Some families may need to explore private treatment or travel abroad to access cutting-edge clinical trials or experimental therapies that are not yet available on the NHS. These treatments can carry significant costs, including travel, accommodation, and treatment fees, which are often out of reach for families already facing financial hardship.
That’s where With Love, Emma comes in. Your support helps us provide financial assistance to families who are struggling with the unexpected costs of a brain tumour diagnosis.
Thank You
