Apply for Support

A brain tumour diagnosis can bring unexpected financial challenges, from covering daily expenses to funding essential treatments. With Love, Emma provides grants and treats to people living in England or Wales to support families during this difficult time.

We offer three types of support:​

Medical Grant
Up to £2,000

Our Medical Grant for private treatment play a crucial role in helping individuals in England or Wales gain access to the treatment they need.

 

This grant help pay towards private treatments, specialist doctors & consultations, support for travel and accommodation costs, holistic treatments and other healthcare expenses related to your treatment.

How to Apply

 

To apply for this grant, complete our application form and submit the required supporting documents. What You’ll Need to Provide:

​

  • A hospital letter confirming brain tumour diagnosis,

  • A letter from the treatment centre outlining the proposed treatment plan

  • Payment of our Medical Grants is either paid directly to the treatment centre that is carrying out your treatment or to a Crowdfunding page that has been set up specifically to raise funds for the treatment 

  • A completed application form.

Everyday Grant of £350

Our Everyday Grant is a payment of £350 to provide financial support to help cover daily living expenses and unexpected costs incurred when receiving a Brain Tumour diagnosis. This can include food shopping, travel to appointments, utility bills, and other daily living costs.

 

We’re hoping this grant will relieve some of the financial stress associated with these recurring expenses.

  • A hospital letter confirming brain tumour diagnosis,

  • Payment for our Everyday Grants are paid directly to the applicants/patient’s bank account.

  • A completed application form.

Making Memories

When time is precious, every moment counts. We want to help families create lasting memories through special treats—whether it’s a weekend break, a fun day out, a thoughtful gift, or an act of remembrance. Big or small, these moments can mean the world.

We’ll have a chat about what would be most meaningful for your family, and we’ll take care of the arrangements.

​​What Happens Next?

 

  1. Application Review: Our trustees will carefully assess your application. This process may take up to seven working days.

  2. Follow-Up: Our grants coordinator (Emma’s mum) may contact you if we need to verify any details.

  3. Approval & Grant Proposal: If your application is successful, we will send you a Grant Proposal letter for you to sign and return.

  4. Payment Processing: Once the signed Grant Proposal has been received, we will arrange for funds to be donated to your crowdfunding page or we will arrange payment directly to the treatment centre.

  5. If Your Application is Unsuccessful – We will explain the reasons why, and if possible, explore other ways we may be able to help.
